Reishinua

Reishinua is the name that identifies the line of nutritional supplements created by NUA to provide support for the respiratory system, which comprises two products: Reishinua Bebible (15 vials) and Reishinua caps (90 capsules). The common denominator for both supplements is their main ingredient: a dry extract from the Asian reishi mushroom (Ganoderma lucidum, known as ‘red reishi’).

Why choose Reishinua?+

There is extensive scientific literature to support how good reishi is for our health: it regulates immunity, protects the liver, aids respiratory issues (e.g. hay fever, asthma, colds, bronchitis, pneumonia, COPD, etc.), and is also beneficial in oncology. However, in practice, these beneficial properties cannot be expressed for an extract simply because they are described in scientific literature. That is because the properties of an extract depend on many variables (e.g. chemical profile, type of extract, amount, etc.).

Composition and formats+

Reishinua Bebible (15 vials) and Reishinua caps (90 capsules) are two supplements whose common denominator is their main ingredient: a dry extract from the Asian reishi mushroom (Ganoderma lucidum). Both preparations aim to provide support for the respiratory system during periods of frequent respiratory issues, whether allergic reactions or not. The drinkable format is preferred for young children (from 6 months onwards) although it is also popular amongst adults.

Active ingredients+

active ingredients
In the case of REISHINUA BEBIBLE, the reishi extract is combined with other dry plant extracts:

  • Iceland moss extract (Cetraria islándica) with demulcent (relaxing) and expectorant (helps to alleviate mucus) properties thanks to its mucilage content.
  • Perilla extract (Perilla frutescens): the dry plant extract used in this preparation has a high content of rosmarinic acid, a polyphenol responsible for significant beneficial properties of this plant with regard to respiratory allergies (alleviates symptoms: sneezing, itchy nose, watery eyes, etc.). Diverse studies also highlight the antioxidant properties of this plant.
  • Elderberry extract (Sambucus nigra) not only has antioxidant properties but also protects the respiratory surface against attacks from infectious micro-organisms.
  • Royal jelly (freeze-dried) is a complete nutrient produced by honey bees for nourishing the queen bee and it has a wide range of well-known beneficial properties. It increases vitality and appetite, two significant elements to stimulate in a child with a respiratory breakdown. Likewise, it has well-known antibacterial, antiseptic and immunomodulating potential that is determined largely by its 10-HDA content (in this case: 5%).
  • The Propolis extract is a resinous mixture that the bees extract from tree buds on tree to strengthen the structure of the hive, while also protecting it from invasive micro-organisms. The flavonoid content of the extract used is maximum (10% galangin), which has an antibacterial and antiviral effect.

Amongst the vitamins and minerals in the formula, it is worth highlighting:
The content of iron and zinc – two of the minerals most lacking in infants that are key to numerous bodily functions, including the immune system.
The significant amount of vitamin D, which is key not only for healthy bones but also for a healthy respiratory system. There is also significant vitamin A content in the form of beta-carotene, its precursor, which has proven effects when it comes to strengthening the respiratory surface (lining the respiratory tracts).

In the case of REISHINUA CAPS, the reishi extract is combined with another 3 dry plant extracts:

  • Perilla extract (Perilla frutescens): the dry plant extract used in this preparation has a high content of rosmarinic acid, a polyphenol responsible for significant beneficial properties of this plant with regard to respiratory allergies (alleviates symptoms: sneezing, itchy nose, watery eyes, etc.). Diverse studies also highlight the antioxidant properties of this plant.
  • Quercetin extract (Sophorae japónica): is a flavonoid with recognised antioxidant properties and is very popular for use against colds and also in the case of respiratory allergies.
  • Ginger extract (Zingiber officinale): amongst its many beneficial properties, it has an antioxidant and expectorant effect, besides having a vasodilatory effect that helps the other components of the formula enter the respiratory system.
